Placement testing represents the first step on your road to self-discovery. The assessment process at SFCC is intended to validate appropriate placement into courses based on YOUR skill level. It is highly recommended that you demonstrate a minimum level of proficiency to enroll in college-level courses at SFCC. If you are not satisfied with the results you have the opportunity to retest for free within 16 weeks after “brushing up” on your skills. After the free retest has expired, if you wish to test again you will need to repay the $30.00 fee and activate another account. You are advised to take these assessments seriously because it impacts course selection, finances, and timely completion of your degree. Your success is important to us!
